Cucumber Raita


  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil

  • 1⁄4 teaspoon black mustard seeds

  • 1⁄4 teaspoon cumin seeds

  • 2 lebanese cucumbers, seeded and chopped finely

  • 500g yoghurt


Heat oil in frying pan and cook seeds, stirring, over a low heat for 2 minutes or until seeds pop.

Combine seeds and remaining ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well.
