Lamb Spare Ribs


  • 1kg Prime Dorper Lamb spare ribs

  • 1 – 2 teaspoons wholegrain honey mustard

  • 4 tablespoons chutney

  • 1 tablespoon water


Cut ribs up into strips and then into small sections. Remove all excess fat.

Place meat into a deep casserole dish and partly cover with water. Add salt to taste.

Place lid on casserole dish, simmer until meat is tender, about 1- 1 1⁄2 half hours.

Discard the excess liquid.

Mix together the mustard, chutney and water and brush over the meat.

Preheat oven to 180°C and bake, uncovered for 20 minutes.
