Battered Honey Lamb Strips


  • 300g Prime Dorper Lamb strips

  • 1 cup plain flour

  • 375ml beer

  • Pinch salt

  • 4 cup honey


Dredge the lamb strips in a little of the plain flour. Combine remaining flour, beer and salt until you get a batter consistency.

After placing lamb strips in flour then into the batter, submerge the battered strips into the hot frying oil (making sure that your deep frying basket is already down in the oil before you begin).

Cook until semi golden brown, making sure not to over cook the lamb!

Remove from fryer and drain on paper towel. Place on a serving dish and drizzle with honey.
